Terms of Service

Version 1 · Effective 2026-04-20

These Terms govern your use of HostEarnings. By using the product you agree to them.

The service

HostEarnings helps you track property income, expenses, and investor shares. It is a bookkeeping aid, not a substitute for professional tax, legal, or accounting advice. Always confirm material decisions with a qualified professional.

Your account

Keep your login credentials secret. You're responsible for activity under your account. Share links are tokenized URLs, so treat them like passwords.

Acceptable use

Don't upload data you don't have rights to, don't abuse or attempt to circumvent platform limits, don't use HostEarnings to send spam, don't probe or attack the infrastructure. We may suspend accounts that harm other users or the service.

Plans and billing

HostEarnings is offered on two paid plans: Starter at $6.99 USD per month or $69.99 USD per year (up to 3 properties) and Pro at $19 USD per month or $189 USD per year (up to 15 properties). Annual plans bill the full year upfront and save approximately 17% versus paying monthly. Portfolios larger than 15 properties, and any custom build work, are quoted per engagement through the contact page. A 3-day free trial is available for new accounts on either paid plan and either billing cadence. The trial grants Pro-tier feature access; on day 4 your account converts to the plan and billing cadence you selected at signup unless you change plans first. Subscriptions renew at the selected cadence (monthly or annually) until cancelled. You can cancel or switch plans (including monthly ↔ annual) any time from Settings → Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and Stripe prorates plan switches automatically.

Data ownership

Your data is yours. We don't claim ownership of transactions, properties, investor records, or report content you create. You grant us a limited license to process this data strictly to run the service on your behalf.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim related to HostEarnings is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Material updates are announced by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which HostEarnings is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
